Monet Moods – An Impressionist Art Retreat at Renishaw Hall
🎨 Sunday 10th May 2026 | 10:30am – 3:00pm

Step into a slower, softer way of creating…

Set within the breathtaking grounds of Renishaw Hall, Monet Moods is a gently indulgent art retreat inspired by the dreamy, light-filled world of Claude Monet.

Surrounded by the romance of the award winning Italianate gardens — and with the famous bluebells in bloom — you’ll spend the day exploring expressive brushwork, colour, and movement as you create your own water lilies painting in Monet’s iconic style.

No rush. No pressure. Just a beautifully guided creative escape.

What to Expect
🌿A relaxed, step-by-step painting session led by a professional artist
🌿 Learn how to capture light, reflection, and softness in a Monet-inspired water lilies piece
🌿Practice techniques Monet used and some modern ones too
🌿 Time to wander and soak up the beauty of the gardens at your own pace
🌿 A delicious cream tea to enjoy as part of your retreat

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to reconnect with your creativity, you’ll be gently guided every step of the way — leaving with something truly special.

Your Setting
The historic Renishaw Hall offers a truly enchanting backdrop for the day. Its elegant Italianate gardens, sweeping views, and seasonal bluebell displays create the perfect atmosphere for slowing down, noticing beauty, and painting with intention.
